Cadence
Privacy Policy
How Cadence handles information. Effective August 10, 2026.
Overview
Cadence is designed to keep practice history, stress check-ins, reflections, and preferences on the user’s device while using limited providers for purchases and optional diagnostics.
This policy applies to the Cadence mobile application and its related support services.
Sources and permissions
Most information is provided directly by you or created as you use the app. Device, diagnostic, and transaction information may come from your device, Apple, Google, or the service providers used to operate the app.
Permission-controlled information is accessed only after you grant the relevant device permission. You can revoke a permission in system settings, although the related feature may stop working.
Information we process
- Practice history, preferences, reminders, stress check-ins, and reflections stored on the device.
- Purchase history and an anonymous entitlement identifier used to unlock paid features.
- Optional analytics and diagnostic information only when the user enables the relevant privacy control.
How we use information
- Guide practices, remember progress, and show personal wellness trends.
- Validate purchases and restore premium access.
- Provide optional diagnostics, support, and service reliability improvements.
International processing
Gamina and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires it, we use contractual and organizational safeguards intended to protect information during those transfers.
Storage and retention
Practice data remains on the device until removed through app controls, the app is deleted, or device data is erased. Providers retain limited transaction or diagnostic information under their own policies and applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
- Use Cadence without creating an account.
- Decline Apple Health, notifications, advertising measurement, or optional anonymous analytics.
- Delete local Cadence data from the app or by deleting the app.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may also give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and to complain to a data-protection authority. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions.
Instructions for account or data removal are available on the Delete Account or Data page.
Children
Cadence is a general-wellness app for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Third-party services and links
The app may link to or interoperate with services controlled by other companies. Their privacy practices apply to information they collect independently, so review their notices and controls before using those services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required.
